Small question from far away about land and yachts
Hello from Belgrade. Strange place for me to post, I know, but my uncle lived in Ohio for thirty years and he always talked about how the county here helps people get land back into use. I like that idea a lot.
In my family we are doing something similar but on water. This year we finally put money on a used yacht, to keep in Montenegro where we spend summers. Everybody told us it is like buying a house: look at the papers, look under the floor, never fall in love on the first visit. Four candidates came off https://arconyachts.com/ and we drove to see them one by one, two in Croatia and two around Kotor.
My question for people here: when you bought land or an old house through the land bank, what was the one thing you checked that saved you later? I think the advice is the same for yachts.
